This edition reproduces American academic Leo Bersani’s 1997 text of the same name, where Bersani critiques queer assimilative tendencies into a culture some might consider damaging, and whose perspective Quinlan and Hastings revisit–alongside wider research into the politics of queer spaces–within the works published in this book.
